Five-day to detox, destress and feel revitalized and rejuvenated.
Marika Hofmeister, certified nutritionist and naturopath, will prepare, guide and accompany you through five purifying days to help your body and mind get rid of toxins. The overarching team will be cleansing and restoration of your digestive system, at the very base of our immunity and overall health.
Giving your body time to eliminate toxins and returning to a more authentic way of eating is the best way to avoid disease and premature aging. You will learn how to make better choices for you and family in a durable way. The detox program will include clean, authentic, healthy and as much as possible locally available, all vegetarian foods with vegetables, fruits and berries, legumes such as lentils and mung beans, nuts, seeds, sprouts, seaweed, nutritious vegetable oils and herbal detox teas.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Monday 1st November 2021 at 8.30 p.m. (CET) – One-hour preparatory session
Marika will go through the program and its benefits and provide you with the information you need to prepare physically and mentally for a good detox. This will include a few all-natural things to purchase prior to the detox program. She will explain how to eliminate coffee, alcohol and sugar and gradually eat less during the week that precedes the detox period and how to come back to healthier habits once the detox is over. She will also speak about various ways of fasting and doing mono-diets. As a crucial part of detoxing, she will prepare you for changes that may occur in our bodies during the fasting, while eliminating toxins, and how to prevent and alleviate symptoms.
Monday 8th to Friday 12th November – 30 min touch base every morning at 8 a.m. (CET)
We will have a check-in every morning for questions and sharing of experiences. Each day Marika will provide new ways to help your body in its cleansing process. Focus will be on your intestinal health, and we will discuss favourite subjects like pros and cons of coffee, wine and chocolate and how to defy acidity in your body, still very much enjoying life!
A WhatsApp group will also be set up where participants can share experiences and ask questions. Participants can also write individually to Marika via WhatsApp for any specific questions.
